Trump's Day Begins With a Tweet -- and Church

(CNSNews.com) - In typical fashion, President-elect Donald Trump began this inauguration day with a tweet: "I will see you at 11:00 A.M. for the swearing-in. THE MOVEMENT CONTINUES - THE WORK BEGINS!"

The first view of the president-elect came when he emerged from Blair House with his wife Melania Friday morning, on their way to St. John’s Episcopal Church, located across Lafayette Park from the White House.

For the record, Melanie’s elegant blue dress with matching shoes and gloves drew comparisons to Jacqueline Kennedy on all the cable TV networks – even CNN.

After the church service, the Trumps will meet the Obamas at the White House for tea, then theu’ll all make the journey to Capitol Hill for Trump’s swearing in.

Friday's sunrise glowed pink and gold in Washington, as seen in this screen grab from C-SPAN. But as of 9 a.m., the clouds had moved in, and rain was on the way -- if you believe the weatherman.
