Trump: Obamacare 'Imploding'; 'Dems Should Call Me to Fix'

(CNSNews.com) - In his first tweet on this Friday the 13th, President Donald Trump invited Democrats, not Republicans, to help him "fix" Obamacare, which the president is taking major steps to dismantle.

"The Democrats ObamaCare is imploding. Massive subsidy payments to their pet insurance companies has stopped. Dems should call me to fix!" Trump wrote.

As CNSNews.com reported, the Trump administration announced late Thursday night that it is stopping the illegal taxpayer subsidies (cost sharing reduction payments) to health insurance companies.

And earlier Thursday, President Trump signed an executive order paving the way for individuals to form associations for the purpose of buying health insurance that suits them, even across state lines.

Those two moves are expected to throw the current failing system into total disarray, forcing action from Congress, where Democrats insist on preserving Barack Obama’s signature law; and where Republicans repeatedly have failed to live up to their “repeal and replace” promises.

Later on Friday morning, Trump added a second tweet on health care: "ObamaCare is a broken mess. Piece by piece we will now begin the process of giving America the great HealthCare it deserves!"
