(CNSNews.com) – On the Twitter feed for the first lady Michelle Obama’s “Let’s Move!” campaign to end childhood obesity, a tweet sent out on Thursday offered advice on grocery shopping.

“Shop around the outer perimeter of the grocery store for fresher foods and avoid aisles, usually stocked with processed foods,” the tweet said.

The idea of mapping out shopping is not new, with advocates of the idea saying that fresh foods are located as a rule around the circumference of stores, with preserved food items usually located along inner aisles.

The “Let’s Move!” Twitter Account, which has more than 95,000 followers, also offers daily tips.
