"It's over," declares the subject line Democratic National Committee (DNC) Communications Director Mo Elleithee's e-mail to supporters.

Addressing House Republicans' internal fight to defund Obamacare through a continuing resolution (CR), fundraising e-mail even goes so far as to tell supporters, "The Tea Party won."

The call to action and fundraising pitch tells supporters to hold Republicans accountable "for their recklessness":

"In the past few weeks, you've been hearing a lot about the GOP civil war.

"Well, the war's over -- and the Tea Party won.

"This week we saw John Boehner and Republican leadership completely cave to the Tea Party by approving a plan that holds hostage our economic recovery and financial stability unless we defund Obamacare.

"In other words, congressional Republicans are so dead-set on their hard-right agenda -- and so opposed to anything whatsoever that President Obama proposes, no matter how common-sense or good for families -- that they are willing to hurt the economic well-being of ordinary Americans if they don't get their way.

"Show Republicans that you're going to hold them accountable for their recklessness -- add your name today:"
