Tonight in Prime Time: Watch Emperor Obama Trample the Constitution Over Amnesty

And so the dye is cast, as President Barack Hussein Obama will do what he does best — give a speech of well-crafted rhetoric to make Americans believe he is above our rule of law. As reported by USA Today, “President Obama will use a Thursday speech to roll out new executive orders that could grant legal status to millions of migrants — read illegal aliens — now in the country illegally, officials said Wednesday. In a video announcement posted on Facebook and on the White House website, Obama said he will address the nation at 8 p.m. ET Thursday. “What I’m going to be laying out is the things that I can do, with my lawful authority as president, to make the system work better — even as I continue to work with Congress and encourage them to get a bipartisan, comprehensive bill that can solve the entire problem,” Obama says on the video.”

First of all let us be very honest — President Obama has never worked with Congress. Obama believes Congress exists to do his bidding, nothing more. And if Congress does not do his bidding, then Obama believes he has the “lawful authority” to do what he wants — in other words impose his ideological will via executive order — edict.

Therein lies the difference between living in a Constitutional Republic, based upon the consent of the governed — through legislation offered by the elected representatives — as opposed to existing in an imperial system where you are ruled by the whims of the one.

I hope America asks the question of Obama, why was this not a priority in your first two years when you had super-majorities of Democrats in the House and Senate? After all, it was President Obama who said he would get comprehensive immigration reform done in his first term — another campaign promise not kept. So, now the politically savvy progressive socialists of the Obama administration see an opportunity to regain some sense of the initiative — except there is one big problem.

After this summer when the Americans saw tens of thousands of illegals enter their country and unlawfully dispersed throughout the Republic, the issue changed.

A simple comparative analysis of the enumerated powers of congress, the legislative branch, and the president, the executive branch, show Obama in no way shape or form has the lawful authority to grant legal status — he cannot make any rules or laws regarding matters of naturalization…period! As a matter of fact, based upon his previous statements on the subject, the Washington Post has given Obama the worst rating — an upside-down Pinocchio. Obama will try to make the case that HE has waited long enough — so what? We have a system of coequal branches of government and a separation of powers with a system of checks and balances – which means Congress does not exist to just do what this president or any president demands.

Therefore, who cares if the Democrat Senate passed an immigration reform bill? I don’t hear Obama fuming about the 367 pieces of legislation passed by the GOP-controlled House sitting on Harry Reid’s desk. The hypocrisy is truly laughable. But you see, those pieces of legislation are not congruent with the ideology and desires of one Barack Hussein Obama. So they don’t deserve consideration.

And isn’t it funny how the liberal progressive media is already talking up the government shutdown stuff if the GOP-controlled legislative branch refuses to fund Obama’s illegal actions for illegal amnesty? Of course, no one is considering that it is Obama who is putting the functions of our federal government in jeopardy because of his inability to govern and work with Congress to develop a sensible phased immigration reform bill — not some ideologically-driven political resolution.

Expect Obama to invoke the name of Ronald Reagan and his action that resulted in some 1.5 to 2 million illegals receiving amnesty — however, it was tied to the federal government ensuring border security, which never occurred. Reagan regretted trusting without verifying, and that lesson reverberates to this day.

For Obama it all comes down to his will — give a prime time speech and then hit the road to try and build support — of course from pre-staged and selected audiences. I find it quite interesting that Obama prefers to run around the country rather than staying in Washington D.C. and actually governing. President Obama embraces a policy of non-accountability and positions himself as a bystander – albeit a complaining intransigent ideologue.

These continuing actions after the midterm elections — such as signing the climate change agreement with China, throwing Sen. Mary Landrieu under the bus over the Keystone XL pipeline, and this unlawful illegal alien amnesty — are causing much unrest in the Democrat party.

Democrats are finding themselves having to stretch the truth in order to support someone who appears to be looking out only for himself. Obama’s legacy may be not only fundamentally transforming our America for the worse — but also severely and adversely affecting the Democrat party.

There are no levels of illegal immigrants — either we uphold our laws and respect our standing as a sovereign nation or not. And most of us don’t buy into this focus on just the “criminal” illegal alien — without border security they’ll just come right back — and commit more crimes and murders against Americans and legal immigrants. Obama’s speech this evening will be all about politics and establishing a permanent demographic change in America — which he believes will fundamentally transform national-level elections in America forever.

Obama’s unlawful granting of legal status to illegal immigrants isn’t good policy — it will affect our national security, our healthcare, our economy, our education system, and our local law enforcement. We need to get Americans back to work. We need to secure our border. We need to fix our legal immigration system. We need to cut off taxpayer-funded benefits to those here illegally. We need a president who respects the rule of law in our Constitutional Republic called America.
