Remember when President Trump was on the campaign trail and he made the assertions that America would get back to winning. He stated that we would be winning so very much that we would ask him to stop winning. Now, to the casual observer, such as myself, I was thinking, “Hmm, this is starting to sound like a very bad Charlie Sheen routine.” And admit it, many of you who were not at any campaign rallies probably grimaced, thinking the whole “winning” thing was a tad bit over the top. Boy howdy, were we ever wrong! What we have witnessed in the first 500 days of the Trump administration is resoundingly incredible. Yes, we are indeed winning.
Look, the American people went to the polls in 2016 not wanting to elect a pope – though we could certainly use a new one since this current one is a socialist. The American people did not want a Boy Scout. Then again, we cannot even say that anymore because now they’re just scouts. What the American people voted for was the restoration of hanging championship banners in our gym. We wanted the respect and regard of our constitutional republic restored. What the American people are not focused on is the likeability of President Trump. Put simply, the American people want stuff to get done, and politicians have failed in that regard.
America is at an almost two-decades low for unemployment. We have more job openings than Americans unemployed, truly near full employment. We have never seen minority unemployment at these levels. Let me reiterate: never, historic, especially in the black community. We have reached monumental points for consumer confidence, and wages are increasing. We are producing, consuming, and exporting our own energy resources. We have truly, and utterly, destroyed the territorial integrity of the Islamic State. And we have gotten the attention of our foes, and friends, when it comes to our standing in the world – no longer centered on weakness, but strength. Once again, the American economy is at the top.
Now, who, may I inquire, does not like these truths, this, winning?
The answer my friend is not blowing in the wind, but it is coming from the mouths of blowhards. Consider just recently, HBO far leftist show host, Bill Maher, commented that he wished for a recession in order to save our democracy. And who can forget House Minority Leader, Nancy Pelosi’s dismissive comment last week saying “hip, hip hooray” when she was asked by CNSNews.com about the record numbers for unemployment in America? Ms. Pelosi also went on to say that we need wages to rise and that consumer confidence has not increased. Sorry, Ma’am. Perhaps you should read your talking points before you take a press conference. Needless to say, Ms. Pelosi was not aware of wage increases and rising consumer confidence, at an 18-year high. Perhaps Ms. Pelosi does know these things, yet refuses to want to see the American people winning? Or maybe, just as Bill Maher would prefer, she wishes to see America’s economic demise rather than the individual economic empowerment of American citizens –winning?
Even as President Trump prepares to sit, the first American president to do so, with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, there is an atmosphere of chagrin with the progressive, socialist left. I mean, let’s be honest, has anyone heard from those predicting that President Trump would lead us into a nuclear war on the Korean peninsula? I find it really perplexing that the leftist media has not addressed the failure of Barack Obama’s “strategic patience” policy with the Stalinist state of North Korea, another losing strategy. My belief is that secretly, the left desires a failure for President Trump in this summit with North Korea.
What is happening in America is that the left does not want winning. They want control. And when the left is in control, American loses. The left wants, as I have previously stated, ideological domination. The left hates President Trump with each success because it embarrasses them. They would prefer to have a return to high unemployment and low GDP if it means they are in control. When Bill Maher talks about saving our democracy, he means leftist, socialist power, control. The only ones threatening the American democracy is the progressive socialist left. The only ones not accepting the electoral results of the 2016 presidential election is the ideological left. Constitutional conservatives were not pleased with the election, and reelection, of Barack Obama, but we decided to work hard from an issue-based, policy orientation. But of course, any disagreement with Obama’s failures were castigated as racist. That is, and always will be, the fallback position of the left, who embrace the ideal of identity politics. Constitutional conservatives won gubernatorial, state legislative, and federal elected positions on the merit of better policy. In other words, conservatives ran to win, so we could go on having more “winning.”
The left has continued down the same old tired path of wealth redistribution, nationalizing of economic production, and class warfare as a means to their sought-after end: power. But what is even more disconcerting is that the left has now fully embraced violence as a means to attain that power. Since the left cannot win on merit based on policy, they seek to win by way of intimidation – hence the rise of what can only be described as the leftist domestic terror group, Antifa. For the life of me, I cannot fathom any reason why Antifa has not been designated by the Department of Justice as a domestic terrorist organization. These black clad, masked, thugs have much in common with the SA, the Brown Shirts. We should all condemn such an organization. They are a threat to our democracy, not economic growth and empowerment. These types of groups and their antics have little to do with preserving our democracy, but are rather all about the politics of ideological intimidation – the leftist way.
America is winning, and the left in America wants no part of it. These are people who possess a sort of malignant narcissism that seeks to undermine and destroy America if they cannot be in control, retain power. The facts matter little to the left. America is winning on so many levels, but the progressive, socialist left defines winning as their ideological domination. What’s the lesson to be learned here? There can be no compromise, no bipartisan consensus when those on the left wish to harm our republic for their own gain.
