Senator Ted Cruz (R-Texas) reenacted a scene from the 1987 film The Princess Bride while campaigning for president in Iowa on Sunday.

At a church service in Des Moines, the pastor mentioned to Cruz that his favorite movie was The Princess Bride.

Cruz then responded, saying, “it is my favorite movie as well.” He then proceeded to reenact the scene in the film where Miracle Max is resuscitating the Dread Pirate Roberts, which he described as one of his favorite scenes.

This is not the first time Cruz has reenacted a scene from The Princess Bride while on the campaign trail. Cruz reenacted the same scene while campaigning in Manchester, New Hampshire on November 12.
