Citing the constant liberal media attacks against President Donald Trump -- particularly by CNN, which ran a headline about getting the Trump "leopard" to "change his spots" -- evangelical preacher Franklin Graham said the left is trying to stop Trump from fulfilling his "campaign promises" and Americans must pray to God to give Trump "wisdom and courage."
In a Feb. 5 post on Facebook, Rev. Graham, son of evangelist Billy Graham, said, "The president is coming under increasing pressure from groups on all sides."
"Even CNN has a headline today asking 'Will this leopard change his spots?'" said Franklin Graham. That’s what the left is hoping he will do—they don’t want him to fulfill his campaign promises."
"Let’s pray that God will give President Donald J. Trump wisdom and courage to stand strong for the American people," he said. "Let him know in the comments below that you are praying for him."
After last Thursday's National Prayer Breakfast, which he attended, Rev. Graham noted that Trump said at the gathering, “for those of us in Washington, we must never stop asking God for the wisdom to do His will.”
In closing his remarks, Trump said, “one nation under God—that’s where we are and that’s where we will be.”
Rev. Graham remarked, "I hope you will keep the president and vice president on your prayer list every day."
