VP Mike Pence Tweets: ‘Good to See Movie Theaters’ Showing ‘Unplanned’ Movie

In a tweet on his Twitter account on April 1, 2019, Vice President Mike Pence tweeted that it is “good to see movie theaters across the country showing @UnplannedMovie.”

“So good to see movie theaters across the country showing @UnplannedMovie -- a deeply inspiring new pro-life film based on the best-selling book by @AbbyJohnson,” wrote Vice President Mike Pence in a tweet. “More & more Americans are embracing the sanctity of life because of powerful stories like this one. #Unplanned

The “Unplanned” Twitter account page responded in a tweet to the vice president’s tweet, thanking him for his words.

 “The movie’s $6,110,000 weekend box office ranked the fifth highest total in the nation, according to data released by Box Office Mojo,” reported CNSNews.com. “Per theater, Unplanned averaged $5,770, beating out Captain Marvel ($5,144) and topped only by Dumbo ($10,566) and Us ($8,978) among the top 25 in total revenue.”

According to CNSNews.com, “The total number of U.S. theaters screening Unplanned will jump from in 1,059 theaters in its opening weekend to approximately 1,700 theaters in week two.”
