On his nationally syndicated radio talk show “The Mark Levin Show” on Thursday, host Mark Levin warned that if we do nothing on Iran – North Korea, China and Russia are watching.

“So, what do we do?” asked Mark Levin. “Well, let’s say we do nothing. What happens if we do nothing? Iran will test us some more, but in more aggressive ways. North Korea – maybe they’ll test a few more missiles? China – maybe it will threaten us in the South China Sea beyond what they’ve already threatened? Russia – well, maybe they’ll decide, ‘You know what? Ukraine does look kinda tasty. Let’s devour the rest of the Ukraine.’ I don’t know. But I do know this: these are evil regimes. They’re watching what’s going to take place here, not because of anything we’ve done.”

Mark Levin’s remarks came after Iran shot down a U.S. military surveillance drone and just a week after U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, according to CNSNews.com reporting, “accused the Iranian regime of responsibility for attacks on two tankers near the Persian Gulf, and slapped down his Iranian counterpart for a tweet insinuating some sort of anti-Iran conspiracy behind the incident.” CNSNews.com further reported, “A U.S. official also told Reuters, on condition of anonymity, that Iran was a leading candidate for the perpetrator, but that the U.S. does not have conclusive proof of its involvement.”

Below is a transcript, in pertinent part, of Mark Levin’s comments from his show on Thursday:

“What is the right position?

“The right position is not to be an ideologue about this sort of thing. I’ve told you many times, conservatism is not an ideology. It’s a way of life. It’s a reality. And so you need to be prudent in foreign policy as you do in other aspects of public policy. You need to be prudent.

“Nobody’s suggesting we send a half million troops to fight Iran – nobody. But  you can’t let a[n] Islamo-Nazi terrorist regime do what it’s doing without repercussions.

“‘But Mark, it’s 7,000 miles away’ or whatever it is. Really? How many times have we heard this: Osama Bin Laden was 7,000 miles away. The Third Reich – what? – thousands and thousands of miles away. Japan – thousands and thousands of miles away before they struck us. In fact, most of these wars have been a result of things that have happened thousands and thousands of miles away. So that’s not a particularly effective argument – particularly with modern military hardware, technology.

“So, what do we do? Well, let’s say we do nothing.
