During “The Mark Levin Show” Wednesday evening, nationally syndicated radio show host Mark Levin said President Donald J. Trump’s second State of the Union address (SOTU) was a “great speech,” also noting that he thought the “speech Trump gave was the finest speech since Ronald Reagan.”

“[T]hat speech Trump gave was the finest speech since Ronald Reagan – better than any Clinton speech, better than any of the two Bush speeches, better than any Obama speech,” stated Mark Levin. “And look how the media react to it.”

Mark Levin’s comments came after President Donald Trump gave his second SOTU, the media, Levin predicted, reacting in an “embarrassing,” “partisan,” “superficial” fashion. Levin’s remarks also stem from how the media adored Obama’s State of the Union Speeches, while media personalities, like NBC’s Chuck Todd and CNN’s Van Jones, trashed President Trump’s second SOTU speech.

Below is a transcript of Mark Levin’s comments from his show on Wednesday:

“You know, Craig Shirley’s a buddy of mine. He’s also one of the great experts on Ronald Reagan, and he and I agree that that speech Trump gave was the finest speech since Ronald Reagan – better than any Clinton speech, better than any of the two Bush speeches, better than any Obama speech. And look how the media react to it.

“There were a lot of Reagan-like themes in the speech, particularly at the end, but a lot of Reagan-like themes.

“And Van Jones is just too stupid to be able to follow the flow and the ebb of the speech.

“It went in and out of the personal, in and out of the historical, in and out of the policies. So, it’s not just a boom, boom, boom, boom talking-point speech. [It was a s]uperb use of serious individuals, people, and meaning in the gallery.

“It was a great speech. It was an outstanding speech.”
