On his nationally syndicated radio talk show program Tuesday, host Mark Levin slammed the media for its recent attacks on President Donald Trump, saying that the media have “no morality to take the moral high ground.”

“This doctor said there’s nothing wrong with the president physically or mentally, and the reporters will have none of it,” stated Mark Levin. “They want him to be mentally ill. They want him to be physically ill. They want him to be a racist. They want him to have colluded with the Russians. They act like they’re taking the moral high ground. They have no morality to take the moral high ground.”

Levin’s comments came after White House physician Rear Adm. Dr. Ronny Jackson told reporters at the White House Tuesday that the president’s health is “excellent” for a man in his 70s and that Trump did “exceedingly well” on his cognitive exam.

Below is a transcript of Levin’s comments from his show Tuesday:

Levin: “Oh, Margaret Brennan from CBS [News], who the hell is she? Nobody knows. But listen to this. This is really appalling.

“Cut 17, go.”

Brennan: “You say, given the president’s age, he’s somewhat of a peer to where President Reagan was at the time of his presidency. Can you say, given that there’s scrutiny of what was overlooked at the time with President Reagan in terms of Alzheimer’s and things he was … .”

Levin: “So, now you see, ladies and gentlemen, when President Reagan was 71, 18 months into his presidency he had Alzheimer’s. No, he didn’t.

“Now, again, step back and look what’s taking place here.

“The way the media and the left, one in the same, and the Democrats, all in the same—they call this the free press, by the way—the way they are massively pushing racial division in this country, they don’t care – by a statement the president made that had nothing to do with racism.

“Look at how they talk about mental illness now in this country. There are people who are in serious need of help. There are people who are struggling every single day with mental illness, no fault of their own: chemical imbalances, DNA, whatever it is – no fault of their own. And look how they just blithely throw out there, ‘Well, Reagan, you know, had Alzheimer’s. That was kinda covered up. You sure you’re not covering it up with Trump?’ It’s just—

“We’ve reached a point in this country where there’s simply no governor on the mouths of these buffoons – nothing.

“They attack Trump’s tweet[s]. There’s not a single tweet that Trump has put out, that I can recall, that is as appalling as hat this moron, phony reporter just said – nothing.

“This doctor said there’s nothing wrong with the president physically or mentally, and the reporters will have none of it. They want him to be mentally ill. They want him to be physically ill. They want him to be a racist. They want him to have colluded with the Russians. They act like they’re taking the moral high ground. They have no morality to take the moral high ground.

“The media in this country in the last two years have destroyed themselves.

“Now they still have their corporate subsidies. All of these people are on a corporate payroll. They’re all on a public payroll. So they’re not objective journalists of any kind. They couldn’t survive on their own. So they take the corporate party line, which, in the case of the media, is almost, with very few exceptions, exclusively a monopoly of the ideological left.

“Which is why they attack Fox and attack talk radio and anything else that even has the patina of conservatism because they do not believe in the competition of ideas. They do not believe in competition of any kind. They rule with a centralized iron fist.

“Whether it’s education, whether it’s health care, whether it’s trashing the cops, whether it’s trashing the military, whether it’s trashing our economic system, it doesn’t matter.”
