Director Lee Daniels Plans 1st Gay Superhero Movie

Lee Daniels, director of the TV show, “Empire,” said Tuesday that he is fulfilling his dream of producing a movie featuring the first gay superhero, Complex reports.

"Y'all remember maybe 10, 12 years ago I said my dream was to make a gay superhero film?" Daniels announced on Instagram. "Dreams do come true. And I found my superhero. America, world, get ready."


The movie, titled “SuperB*tch,” will feature a D.C. native with the Instagram name, who is already famous for Instagram videos of him pretending to be a crimefighter dressed in a silver belly shirt and hot pink thigh high boots.

“Dreams really do come true!! I had the pleasure of meeting the one and only @theoriginalbigdaddy. You’re an amazing man filled with great ideas. I can wait to work with you!” the new “SuperB*tch” wrote on his Instagram.
