Radio host Mark Levin branded Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY) a "pathological liar" who would have "fit right in with the Brezhnev crowd" while discussing her behavior on the Jan. 6 committee Thursday.

Levin explained how Cheney neglected to mention that former President Donald Trump had wanted 10,000 to 20,000 additional national guardsmen, but that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi denied the request.

“Look how they conduct their phony investigations, throwing subpoenas all over the place. And then if you say, ‘wait a minute, I’m not going to do that, the former president is exerting executive privilege,' 'well, he doesn’t have the right to do that! Come on, let’s throw [Steve] Bannon in prison!’ She would’ve fit right in with the [Soviet Union General Secretary Leonid] Brezhnev crowd.

Mark Levin: “Our man Louie Gohmert was there too, of course. And so he asks, well, I’ll let him ask. Cut nine, go.”

Rep. Louie Gohmert: “But I want to take you to Jan. 6, it’s a very common topic here for people. Has any defendant involved in the Jan. 6 events been charged with insurrection?”

Merrick Garland: “I don’t believe so.”

Gohmert: “Alright. Well, that is the word most used by Democrats here on Capitol Hill about Jan. 6, but no one has been charged with it that we could find either.”

Levin: “It doesn’t matter; they want to call it an insurrection. And Liz Cheney, like a good Stalinist, has concluded that Donald Trump orchestrated the entire thing. Oh, yes.

“What Liz Cheney doesn’t say because she’s turned out to be a pathological liar, mind you, is that Donald Trump is the president that offered 10,000 to 20,000 national guardsmen, which Nancy Pelosi did not accept. We know this from multiple sources, on the record, real names, not anonymous, including, well it doesn’t matter. So, why aren’t they subpoenaing Nancy Pelosi’s records? Why aren’t they deposing Nancy Pelosi?

“Because they’re hatchet men and women for Nancy Pelosi. You see, the Bush-ees, the Cheney-ites, the Never-Trumpers, and, of course, the American Marxists -- the Democrats -- they don’t want Trump to run again. They want to brutalize the people around him and they want to brutalize Trump.

“And this is the nature of Stalinism and Maoism and these regimes. They go after individuals who they fear politically, who they fear will challenge them in the future; that’s what they do. So the best way to take them out is to try and criminalize their behavior.

“Liz Cheney has posed as a hawk, as an anti-communist, and yet she’s more similar to them than one might think. Just listen to how she speaks, when the ends justify the means.

“Regardless of what she has said all these years, look, I was deceived as well, just like you, utterly and completely deceived.”
