Vice President Joe Biden told Democratics challenging to the Electoral College votes, “It is over.”

Biden shut down and gavelled through a series of Democratic challenges to the congressional certification of the Electoral College on Friday.

"It is over," he told Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) which was followed by a rousing cheer from Republicans.

Biden gaveled down similar protests from Reps. Barbara Lee (D-Calif.), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas), Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), and Jim McGovern (D-Mass.).

Biden told the legislators that any objection had to be in writing and signed by both a member of the House and a member of the Senate. None of the written objections posessed the needed signatures.
