Introduced by three “rolling on the floor laughing” emojis, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) retweeted a parody video of Satan’s “post-game” press conference responding to the Supreme Court’s overturning of Roe v. Wade, which had established a national right to abortion.
On Tuesday, Cruz retweeted a post by, Kyle Mann, the editor-in-chief of the parody website The Babylon Bee. Mann introduces his parody video as “Exclusive from @thebabylonbee: Satan responds to Roe v Wade defeat.”
Imitating the style and rhetoric of a news conference held by a coach following a defeat, the video takes shots at the devil’s “championship team of demons, devils and Democrats out there” and Planned Parenthood – including Vice President Kamala Harris’ “demonic cackle.”
“It scares even me, sometimes,” Satan says of Kamala's cackle.
