“I can't believe what a coward Joe Biden has turned out to be,” former U.S. Ambassador Nikki Haley said Tuesday, commenting on President Joe Biden’s “catastrophic failure” directing the U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan, which has left American citizens and allies desperately trying to escape the clutches of the Taliban.
In a Fox News Channel interview, Haley expressed surprise at Biden’s cowardice and said she sympathizes with the men and women in the U.S. military who have been ordered by Biden to betray their promise to protect their Afghan allies:
“I mean, this is a sad day for America. I can't believe what a coward Joe Biden has turned out to be. This is a moralistic failure in a way that is unimaginable for the United States of America. The ones that I feel the worst for are American men and women who sacrificed and served and their families for over 20 years, who looked those Afghan allies in the eyes and said, ‘Because you helped save our lives, we're going to take care of you.’ And, when those soldiers take off on that plane, knowing that there are American citizens on the ground, that is a mental anguish they are going to have the rest of their lives.”
“Joe Biden is a coward because he doesn’t know what it means to have to serve,” the former U.S. ambassador to the U.N. said:
“We are known in this world for having a strong value of life. We value life. That's what separates us from every other country in the world. The idea that we would leave American citizens to die, the idea that we would leave those people who stood shoulder-to-shoulder with us and kept people like my husband alive and all of these soldiers alive because we made them a promise, the idea that Joe Biden is a coward because he doesn't know what it means to have to serve, he doesn't know that these soldiers would do anything to go save those American citizens.”
“It’s Joe Biden’s most cowardly moment” and proof that Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris are unfit to lead the country,” Haley said:
“This is that catastrophic failure. It's a sad day for America. It's Joe Biden's most cowardly moment.
“And, it truly goes to show that Joe Biden and Kamala Harris do not deserve to lead this country. We're better than this.”
Later in the interview, Haley noted that, because of Pres. Biden’s “cowardly” surrender to the Taliban, the radical regime’s flag will be flying over Afghanistan on the 20th anniversary of the 9-11 terrorist attacks on the U.S.:
“He is cowardly getting out. He's surrendering to the Taliban, surrendering to hate and everything terroristic. We'll have a Taliban flag flying over Afghanistan on the 20th anniversary of 9-11. It's disgusting, sickening and I can't believe that this is happening in our country today.”
