U.S. border agents used fingerprint analysis and biometrics to identify a previously-deported illegal alien wanted on three counts of raping his 15 year-old daughter, U.S. Customs and Border Protection’s (CBP) reported Friday.
Rusbel Zamorano-Calderon, a Mexican national, was among a group of illegal aliens apprehended as they tried to break into the U.S. in CBP's El Paso, Texas sector on Tuesday.
After his interview with agents, Zamorano was transported to the Ysleta, TX Border Patrol Station for processing, where he was fingerprinted, and his biometric information was entered into several immigration and criminal databases.
Agents discovered Zamorano had been previously deported and had an outstanding warrant for “Three Counts of Rape” on his own 15-year-old daughter in Tennessee. There was also a restraining order in place to protect the daughter.
Zamorano will be remanded to the custody of the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office pending extradition to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office in Tennessee to face three felony rape charges.
