Americans should not watch any of President Donald Trump’s State of the Union address on Tuesday, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) says.

Replying to a Tuesday morning tweet by CNN Politics promoting an article telling readers “What to watch” during Trump’s address, Rep. Ocasio-Cortez tweeted, “None of it.”

“State of the Union 2019: What to watch

In its article, “State of the Union 2019: What to watch,” CNN Politics advised Americans to be on the lookout for four things:

  • “Shutdown plans? A national emergency?”
  • “Optics”
  • “A bipartisan appeal?”
  • “White House spin”
