Rob Reiner, who played Archie Bunker’s son-in-law Meathead on “All in the Family,” sent out a tweet earlier this month declaring his opinion that “Donald Trump is a pathologically lying criminal.”
This was only one in a series of tweets in which Reiner attacked Republicans generally and Trump specifically.
“From a political standpoint, I understand why [Atty. Gen. Merrick] Garland appointed a special counsel to investigate President Biden,” Reiner said in a Jan. 12 tweet. “As pointless as it is from a legal standpoint, I can accept it.
“What I won’t accept is Trump not getting indicted,” said Reiner. “Garland, do you job!”
In a tweet sent out on Jan. 15, Reiner said: “The difference between Joe Biden and Donald Trump is: Joe Biden is a decent law abiding person, and Donald Trump is a pathologically lying criminal.”
