On Wednesday, when thousands of Trump supporters gathered in support of the president in Washington, D.C., a pipe bomb was found outside the headquarters of the Republican National Committee (RNC), according to Sophie Mann with Just the News.
The RNC office is located at 310 1st Street, SE, which is three blocks from the U.S. Capitol.
"A pipe bomb was found outside a wall at the RNC and was successfully destroyed by a bomb squad, according to an official from the RNC," reported Just the News.
A suspicious package was also discovered at the headquarters of the Democratic National Committee (DNC), but its contents have yet to be identified or disclosed.
The DNC is located at 430 South Capitol Street, SE, which is also very close to the Capitol.
