Singer Bette Midler sent out a tweet on Thursday morning making an observation about drone delivery of goods.

“Amazon has the go-ahead for FAA drone licenses,” she said, “in case you are wondering how long it will be before you get hit on the head with someone else’s sex toys.”

The New York Post reported on Monday:

“Amazon just got one step closer to sending fling robots to your front door with that much-needed package of diapers.

“The Federal Aviation Administration officially designated the e-commerce colossus and ‘air carrier’ on Monday, paving the way for Amazon to start testing its plans to drop off packages within 30 minutes.”
