Conservative radio host Mark Levin blasted the Lincoln Project during his show Tuesday, calling the anti-Trump political action committee of Republicans a "John Wilkes Booth Project" to character assassinate Trump with "vulgar lies."

"I think I am going to call it...the John Wilkes Booth Project because of their obsessive hatred of the president and their desire to character assassinate him with these vulgar lies," Levin said.

"What you have here is a handful of Washington insiders who are trying to convince you to vote to destroy your own country, and not only are they targeting Trump; they are now targeting so-called moderate Republicans who have been supporting the president's agenda," continued the radio host.

Levin brought into question alleged connections of the organization to Russia, as well as fundraising transparency.

"They are now going to oppose any Republicans who do not back Biden's agenda. So, you can see this as a Trojan horse."

Below is a transcript of the segment.

Levin: You can see more and more people now writing about this group called the Lincoln Project. I think I am going to call it henceforth, Mr. Producer, the John Wilkes Booth Project because of their obsessive hatred of the president and their desire to character assassinate him with these vulgar lies that some of you have seen on cable TV. There are now serious questions about connections to Russia. There are serious questions about what they're doing with the money they raise, the lack of transparency, and whether there are IRS issues. And I want to congratulate those who have been writing about it now, whether it is the New York Post and Breitbart and others, several others. You should keep at it because what you have here is a handful of Washington insiders who are trying to convince you to vote to destroy your own country and not only are they targeting Trump; they are now targeting so-called moderate Republicans who have been supporting the president's agenda. And they are now going to oppose any Republicans who do not back Biden's agenda. So you can see this as a Trojan horse. They're funded by, among others, very wealthy Democrats. These are Washington operatives who are failures: one lawyer, three consultants, four stooges. CNSNews Reader,

The media are hard at work weaving a web of confusion, misinformation, and conspiracy surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic.

CNSNews covers the stories that the liberal media are afraid to touch. It drives the national debate through real, honest journalism—not by misrepresenting or ignoring the facts.

CNSNews has emerged as the conservative media’s lynchpin for original reporting, investigative reporting, and breaking news. We are part of the only organization purely dedicated to this critical mission and we need your help to fuel this fight.

Donate today to help CNSNews continue to report on topics that the liberal media refuse to touch. $25 a month goes a long way in the fight for a free and fair media.
