(CNSNews.com) – House Republicans are calling on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi to reconsider her plan to change House rules to end term limits for committee chairs. When Republicans were in the majority in 1995, the House adopted fairness rules written in conjunction with Newt Gingrich’s “Contract with America,” which included six-year term limits for committee chairs to encourage fresh ideas and guard against strict longevity.

(CNSNews.com) – A coalition of conservative groups plan to present a petition of 330,000 names to the United Nations on Tuesday, calling for the member states to interpret the Universal Declaration of Human Rights as protecting the unborn from abortion and protecting the traditional family. The group was formed in response to efforts by pro-abortion groups International Planned Parenthood Federation and Marie Stopes International, which are calling for the right to abortion on declaration’s 60th anniversary.
