The closing bell sounded another record high for the Dow Jones Industrial Average on Nov. 29.

(CNSNews.com) - President Trump on Thursday tweeted about record highs in the stock market and the Republican tax reform bill -- two subjects that liberal media outlets are not focusing on.

Instead, as CNSNews.com reported, liberal cable outlets spent much of their time on Thursday questioning Trump's mental state and his fitness for office in light of the North Korean nuclear threat.

"Stock Market hits new Record High. Confidence and enthusiasm abound. More great numbers coming out!" Trump tweeted around 8 a.m.

Earlier, the president took on the "failing New York Times," calling it "the pipe organ for the Democrat Party" because of its efforts to tank the tax bill: "They are wrong so often that now I know we have a winner!" Trump said about the tax bill.

(The New York Times editorial page on Wednesday urged voters to call key members of Congress, even giving their telephone numbers, in an effort to block the Republican tax bill.)

Trump also tweeted about a Chinese diplomat's recent visit to North Korea, which did not deter Kim Jong-un's regime from launching an ICBM with a higher trajectory than any previous test-fire.

"The Chinese Envoy, who just returned from North Korea, seems to have had no impact on Little Rocket Man. Hard to believe his people, and the military, put up with living in such horrible conditions. Russia and China condemned the launch," Trump tweeted.

He has promised to impose new sanctions on North Korea.
