(CNSNews.com) - "Watching Sleepy Joe Biden making a speech," Trump tweeted on Tuesday as Biden ripped into Trump at a campaign stop in Ohio.
"Sooo Boring!" Trump said. "The LameStream Media will die in the ratings and clicks with this guy. It will be over for them, not to mention the fact that our Country will do poorly with him. It will be one big crash, but at least China will be happy!"
Trump also slammed Rep. Joaquin Castro (D-Texas), the twin brother of presidential hopeful Julian Castro. Joaquin on August 5 tweeted the names of 44 San Antonians (his own constituents) who gave the maximum amount allowable to the Trump campaign. He also published the names of their employers. Outraged Americans said Castro was inviting criticism if not violence against those 44 people.
Trump weighed in via Twitter:
I don’t know who Joaquin Castro is other than the lesser brother of a failed presidential candidate (1%) who makes a fool of himself every time he opens his mouth. Joaquin is not the man that his brother is, but his brother, according to most, is not much. Keep fighting Joaquin!
Slamming a day full of "white supremacy" accusations from some Democrats and the liberal media, Trump commented on that, too:
The Dems new weapon is actually their old weapon, one which they never cease to use when they are down, or run out of facts, RACISM! They are truly disgusting! They even used it on Nancy Pelosi. I will be putting out a list of all people who have been so (ridiculously) accused!
And he did not spare his favorite target, which he calls "fake news."
Just watched a world class loser, Tim O’Brien, who I haven’t seen or spoken to in many years, & knows NOTHING about me except that he wrote a failed hit piece book about me 15 years ago. Fired like a dog from other jobs? Saw him on Lyin’ Brian Williams Trump Slam Show. Bad TV....
....I am so amazed that MSNBC & CNN can keep putting on, over and over again, people that have no idea what I am all about, and yet they speak as experts on “Trump.” Same people since long before the 2016 Election, and how did that work out for the Haters and Losers. Not well!
(Tim O'Brien, Bloomberg's opinion editor, was speaking to MSNBC's Nicole Wallace on Tuesday accused Trump of "weaponizing racism.")
In other tweets, President Trump thanked the people of Dayton and El Paso for a "warm and wonderful visit," but he was stung by the comments of two elected officials after he departed Ohio:
"Tremendous enthusiasm and love," Trump tweeted about his visit to Dayton. "Then I saw failed Presidential Candidate (0%) Sherrod Brown & Mayor Whaley totally misrepresenting what took place inside of the hospital. Their news conference after I left for El Paso was a fraud. It bore no resemblance to what took place with those incredible people that I was so lucky to meet and spend time with. They were all amazing!"
Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) and Dayton Mayor Nan Whaley told a news conference that President Trump was well-received and did the right things as he greeted hospital staff and patients:
"He was received as well as you can expect by the patients," Brown said, adding, "They are hurting. He was comforting, he did the right things -- he and Melania did the right things. It's his job in part to comfort people. I'm glad he did it."
But Brown also said the people with whom Trump met "showed respect for the office" of the president, not the president himself. "And a number of them said to me, they're not great admirers of him privately, but they clearly showed respect for the office when the President of the United States is in town."
