(CNSNews.com) - With all that's going on -- including a rush job on the Republicans' massive, deficit-stoking spending bill --  President Donald Trump used his first tweet of Thursday morning to respond to "Crazy Joe Biden."

As CNSNews.com reported, Biden took a verbal jab at Trump on Tuesday, telling students at the University of Miami that he probably would have "beat the hell out" of Trump if they'd attended school together.

"A guy who ended up becoming our national leader said, 'I can grab a woman anywhere and she likes it,'" Biden said. "They asked me if I’d like to debate this gentleman, and I said no. I said, 'If we were in high school, I’d take him behind the gym and beat the hell out of him.'"

Biden then bragged about his athletic ability – and said anyone who uses offensive language is usually a fat, ugly “S.O.B”:

This morning, Trump responded: "Crazy Joe Biden is trying to act like a tough guy. Actually, he is weak, both mentally and physically, and yet he threatens me, for the second time, with physical assault. He doesn’t know me, but he would go down fast and hard, crying all the way. Don’t threaten people Joe!"

In an unrelated second tweet, Trump wrote: "Remember when they were saying, during the campaign, that Donald Trump is giving great speeches and drawing big crowds, but he is spending much less money and not using social media as well as Crooked Hillary’s large and highly sophisticated staff. Well, not saying that anymore!"
