(CNSNews.com) - Andrew Yang, a 2020 contender for the Democrat presidential nomination, gave a lengthy interview in front of supporters in Plymouth, New Hampshire this week, explaining his policy positions. Some of those policies, such as the thousand-dollar-a-month "freedom dividend," are unique to him.

And his view of abortion is this: Men who impregnate women "should just be, like, you got this -- then leave."

Here's his full explanation, when asked about "reproductive health."

So, I don't think men should have anything to do with deciding women's reproductive issues. (Applause)

It's like -- like, we all know if men got pregnant, laws would be very, very different. And so I think -- I think that men should just be like, you got this -- then leave.

And I have a feeling I know what women would decide. But it should be up to women to decide for themselves.

In the course of the interview, Yang said his slogan is "humanity first."

He also said he and his wife have two sons, one of whom is autistic.
