(CNSNews.com) - The White House is giving few details regarding President Donald Trump’s “most dishonest and corrupt media awards,” which is scheduled for Monday at 5pm, but White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders hinted that the media would have to be present in order to receive trophies.

When asked for more details on the awards, like how many awards will be given, where it will take place, whether there will be other judges, an audience, and whether it will be televised, Sanders said, “I certainly don't want to spoil anything, but my guess is that there are quite a few individuals that could be up for those awards, and beyond that, I think we'll have to see what happens on Monday.”

When asked whether the press corps will be in attendance, Sanders said, “We'll certainly keep you posted. It might be hard for him to present trophies if you guys aren't there, but I don't know, we'll have to wait and see what happens on Monday.”

"I will be announcing THE MOST DISHONEST & CORRUPT MEDIA AWARDS OF THE YEAR on Monday at 5:00 o’clock. Subjects will cover Dishonesty & Bad Reporting in various categories from the Fake News Media. Stay tuned!" Trump tweeted on Tuesday night.

As CNSNews.com reported, Trump first aired the idea of a "fake news" contest in November, when he tweeted: "We should have a contest as to which of the Networks, plus CNN and not including Fox, is the most dishonest, corrupt and/or distorted in its political coverage of your favorite President (me). They are all bad. Winner to receive the FAKE NEWS TROPHY!"
