(CNSNews.com) - Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards says, “that Roe Vs. Wade was on the ballot in this election” that led to a presidential victory for Donald Trump. She also says people have been “dropping off baked goods” at Planned Parenthood facilities following the election results.

During an interview on MSNBC on Wednesday, Rachel Maddow asked Richards: "Do you think Roe v. Wade is at risk?"

Richards said, “Absolutely. I mean, I think that Roe vs. Wade was on the ballot in this election. I know that Mr. Trump has said that in his acceptance speech that he was going to govern for all Americans - not just ones that voted for him - and I hope that includes women.”

“If he is going to govern and represent all Americans this is a right, the right to safe and legal abortion is a right women have had in this country for more than 40 years and it is supported by people of all parties, so it is important and we will absolutely be fighting for a justice of the Supreme Court who supports this right for women.”

Trump ran as a pro-life candidate who said he supported defunding Planned Parenthood as long as it did abortions.

Richards told MSNBC that Planned Parenthood has seen an increase in the number of women who have made appointments for birth control “because they are of course concerned Donald Trump will follow through on his pledge to overturn the Affordable Care Act.”

Richards also says “folks have been dropping off baked goods at our health centers” following the Nov. 8th elections.
