(CNSNews.com) - Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D.-Mass.) sent out a Tweet on Thursday expressing her disappointment that the Senate had voted to confirm William Barr as attorney general and vowing she would “keep fighting to protect the Affordable Care Act and Roe v. Wade.”
She followed that Tweet with another on Thursday that said: “Our kids are America’s future.”
“I’m deeply disappointed that the Senate confirmed William Barr as U.S. Attorney General,” Warren said in a Tweet. “I’ll keep fighting to protect the Affordable Care Act and Roe v. Wade—and I’ll do everything I can to ensure that Special Counsel Mueller can do his job without interference.”
“Our kids are America’s future,” Warren said in another Tweet that day. “I told the crowd in Iowa City: I’m fighting for a government in Washington that will invest n our children and our grandchildren.”
