( - Rep. Ilhan Omar (D.-Minn.) responded to people at a Trump rally in North Carolina on Wednesday night who chanted “send her back” by sending out a Tweet in which she said she was already where she belongs—in Congress.

“I am where I belong, at the people’s house,” Omar tweeted on Wednesday night, “and you’re just gonna have to deal!”

Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office on Thursday afternoon, Trump said that he did not agree with the chant some of his supporters took up at the Wednesday rally.

“I was not happy with it,” he said. “I disagree with it. But again, I didn’t say that. They did. But I disagree with it.”

“It was quite a chant, and I felt a little bit badly about it,” Trump said.

Along with the Tweet she sent out Wednesday night responding to the chant, Omar included a screen capture of C-SPAN video that shows her standing at the speaker’s podium at the front of the U.S. House of Representatives.
