Preibus, Santorum on Wendy Davis' Evolving Bio

By Matt Vespa | January 23, 2014 | 4:47pm EST

Yesterday, MRCTV's Dan Joseph, along with thousands of pro-life activists, braved the cold for the March for Life.  Along the way, he ran into  RNC Chairman Reince Preibus and former Pennsylvania Senator Rick Santorum and asked how they feel about the controversy over Wendy Davis' rendition of her life story - and if the media attention on her is a positive thing.

Chairman Preibus said, "I don't know. I mean, the media is going to do what they want to do. One thing I know about Texas is that they don't like fakers. And they don't like people who tell lies and half-truths. They like straight shooters in Texas. And we're finding out that Wendy Davis is getting most of her biography from fiction books, so that don't work in Texas."

Former Senator Rick Santorum  was a bit more snarky. "Well, I got to go back and look at my history a little bit, maybe I got some good stories I could tell from my past that I forgot about," said Santorum.

CNSNews Reader,

The liberal media are terrified of the truth, especially when it leads to uncomfortable questions about their own leftist worldview.

CNSNews covers the stories that the liberal media are afraid to touch. It drives the national debate through real, honest journalism — not by misrepresenting or ignoring the facts.

CNSNews relies on the support of our loyal readers to keep providing the news and commentary that matter to the American people, not just stories that prop up the liberal agenda.
