Teen Arrested, Charged with Cheesesteak-Related Assault

William Joseph Hitchcock-Sahr Jr., a Hellertown Pennsylvania teenager, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a friend who didn't invite him for cheesesteaks.  Yes, that's right: cheesesteaks.

According to local law enforcement, 18 year-old Hitchcock-Sahr called his friend, Brandon Ridgick, and learned that he and a few other friends were hanging out and eating cheesesteaks.   Hitchcock-Sahr showed up at the establishment and argued with Ridgick because he had been left out of the gathering and they hadn't bought him a cheesesteak.

Hitchcock-Sahr then, reportedly, proceeded to drag his "friend" down a flight of stairs and kick his face, breaking multiple bones and leaving his friend's face bloody and deformed.  Hitchcock-Sahr has been sent to Northampton County Prison on charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, and harassment.

Is missing out on a cheesesteak really worth jail time and the loss of a friend?
