NBC Today Show Weatherman Al Roker went on a Twitter tirade Thursday against New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio over his handling of the snowstorm and school closures in the city.

Late Thursday morning Roker made his own Twitter forecast especially for de Blasio, “Talk about a bad prediction. Long range DiBlasio (sic) forecast: 1 term.”

The majority of Roker’s tweets had to deal with NYC school’s being open this morning and then let out early (you can check some of them out in the picture). Roker went as far as to call the mayor’s office snow policy ridiculous.

Even though Roker is in Sochi for the Olympics his tweets we’re responded to by de Blasio. At a press conference de Blasio said, “It’s a different thing to run a city than to give the weather on TV.“

Roker later tweeted, “Mr. Mayor, I could never run NYC, but I know when it’s time to keep kids home from school.”
