( - President Donald Trump apparently enjoyed watching the returns come in from New Hampshire's first-in-the-nation primary.

He poked fun at most of the leading Democrats, suggesting it's time for Sen. Elizabeth Warren to drop out of the race and go home to have "a nice cold beer with her husband."

(On New Year's Eve, Warren told her followers in an Instagram live video, "Hold on a sec, I'm gonna get me a beer." This was shortly after she announced her presidential run.)

To Tom Steyer, Trump tweeted, "Not easy to do what I did, is it?"

Using the phonetic spelling of Pete Buttigieg's last name, Trump credited "Bootedgeedge" for "giving Crazy Bernie a run for his money."

4,254 votes separate Sanders, Buttigieg

With 97% of the vote counted in New Hampshire, Sen. Bernie Sanders led the Democrat pack with 25.9 percent (73,470 votes) to Pete Buttigieg's 24.4 percent (69,216 votes). Each man won 9 delegates.

Amy Klobuchar, in third place, received 19.8 percent (55,982 votes), way ahead of fourth-place finisher Elizabeth Warren (9.3 percent or 26,266 votes).

Former Vice President Joe Biden did poorly, as expected: 8.4 percent, or 23,813 votes.

And bringing up the tail end were Tom Steyer (3.6 percent, 10,138 votes); Tulsi Gabbard (3.3 percent, 9,255 votes); and Andrew Yang (2.8 percent, 8,023 votes).

Yang and Sen. Michael Bennet announced they were suspending their long-shot campaigns.

On the Republican side, President Donald Trump received 85.7 percent or 119,149 votes; Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld got 9.1 percent, or 12,701 votes; and write-ins received 2.5 percent or 3,511 votes.

Trump tweeted:

The Fake News Media is looking hard for the Big Democrat Story, but there is nothing too fabulous. Wouldn’t a big story be that I got more New Hampshire Primary Votes than any incumbent president, in either party, in the history of that Great State? Not an insignificant fact!

Trump was reacting to a tweet from his campaign manager Brad Parscale, who wrote: "Enthusiasm for @realDonaldTrump is through the roof! With approximately, 70% of precincts reporting, President Trump has surpassed the New Hampshire Primary vote total of every incumbent President running for re-election over the last four decades."

Trump's other Tuesday-night tweets focused on Democrats, as follows:

Elizabeth Warren, sometimes referred to as Pocahontas, is having a really bad night. I think she is sending signals that she wants out. Calling for unity is her way of getting there, going home, and having a “nice cold beer” with her husband!

Impeachment King Steyer (how did that work out?) spent 200 Million Dollars and got less than 1% of the vote in Iowa, and only 3% of the Vote in New Hampshire. Could it be that something is just plain missing? Not easy to do what I did, is it?

A lot of Democrat dropouts tonight, very low political I.Q.

Bootedgeedge (Buttigieg) is doing pretty well tonight. Giving Crazy Bernie a run for his money. Very interesting!

A very bad night for Mini Mike!
