In reaction to President Obama commuting the 35-year-prison sentence of traitor and transgender Bradley ("Chelsea") Manning, Reverend Jesse Lee Peterson said it does not surprise him because "for some reason he [Obama] has this great desire for men and women who are confused about who they are, their sexual identity," and added that this was the "driving force behind" the pardon of Manning.
"Barack Obama has something going on that I don’t think we all understand at this point," said Rev. Peterson in a Jan. 18 interview on NewsmaxTV. "I'm not calling him a homosexual ... but he has some type of issue going on that causes him to identify with these types of people in a way that I've never seen before in my lifetime."
In the interview, host Steve Malzberg detailed the many crimes committed by Bradley Manning, his conviction in 2013, and the commutation of his sentence by Obama on Jan. 17.
Malzberg also said, “I mean this guy [Manning], this woman to get out so soon is outrageous.”
Rev. Peterson, author, columnist, and founder of the pro-family group BOND, said, “When we look back, Steve, I can’t think of anything good that Obama has done to make the country better. He has weakened the military."

"The first thing he did was get rid of ‘don’t ask, don’t tell,'" said Peterson. "He brought in same-sex marriage. And now men who think they’re women, or women who think they’re men can go into the military and openly be that way."
“For Barack Obama to do this is not really a surprise because for some reason he has this great desire for men and women who are confused about who they are, their sexual identity," said the reverend. "And so I believe he did this more because this man [Manning] has taken on the body parts of a woman. So I’m thinking that that’s the driving force behind it, even if it does mean putting America at risk. Barack Obama has something going on that I don’t think we all understand at this point.”
when Malzberg asked him to clarify what he meant, Rev. Peterson said, “I’m trying to say he seems to have a weakness, he seems to identify in a way that I’ve not seen a man identify. I’m not calling him a homosexual because I don’t know that at all."

"But this man tried to convince us to accept men who think they are women going into a woman’s bathroom," said Peterson. "He’s trying to force us to accept that as being normal."
"I don’t know if something happened in his childhood or what it is, but he has some type of issue going on that causes him to identify with these type of people in a way that I’ve never seen before in my lifetime," said Peterson.

Peterson, 67, was reared by his grandparents who worked on that same plantation in the 1950s. BOND, the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny, is a nonprofit group based in Los Angeles, Calif.
