Radical Islamists were running a terrorist training camp in New Mexico where they allegedly were training kids to carry out school shootings -- a frightening story largely ignored by the national liberal media -- and Revernd Franklin Graham condemned the situation as "sick and evil," and he stressed that "radical Islam is not dead and is not sleeping."

As was reported (barely) in some media, an Islamic man, Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, was arrested in New Mexico on Aug. 3 at a compound where he reportedly was conducting weapons training. There were 11 children at the site near the Colorado border, and the remains of a 12th child were found buried on the premises. Along with Wahhaj, four other adults were arrested at the compound: Lucas Morton, Jany Leveille, Hujrah Wahhaj, and Subhanah Wahhaj.

Siraj Ibn Wahhaj, 39, is the son of Imam Siraj Wahhaj, "who was named by prosecutors as an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing," reported Fox News. The adults at the New Mexico compound were training the children there to conduct school shootings, according to prosecutors.

Commenting on the case, Rev. Graham said on Facebook, "How did a terrorist training compound go undetected on American soil for such a long time? Radicalized Islamists were training children to carry out school shootings and who knows what other deadly acts of terrorism."

"Law enforcement found 11 children hungry and living in a filthy, squalid extremist Muslim compound off the grid in New Mexico," he said.  "They found dirty diapers, ammunition, Qurans, along with things like a training DVD about killing techniques amongst the garbage."

"This is sick and evil," said Rev. Graham.  "Sadly, they also found the corpse of one little boy who had been missing."

"This should be a jolting reminder to our nation—we need to keep our guard up," he said.  "Radical Islam is not is not dead and is not sleeping.
