Commenting on President-elect Donald Trump's selection of House Rep. Tom Price (R-Ga.) to be the next Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), Media Research Center President Brent Bozell said it was "yet another excellent cabinet choice" by the Trump team, which has been selecting "conservatives" to fill the incoming Cabinet.

"The appointment of Rep. Tom Price as Secretary of Health and Human Services is yet another excellent cabinet choice by President-elect Trump," said Bozell in a Nov. 29 statement.

"Trump seems absolutely committed to honoring his pro-life commitments by selecting a man with a 100% pro-life record," said Bozell.

"No wonder Trump is driving the media nuts," he said.  "These choices are all ... conservatives. And in choosing a pro-life cabinet member, Trump has disrupted the liberal media's pro-abortion agenda, their single most important issue."

"Conservatives should be very pleased with the decisions coming out of Trump Tower," said Bozell.

Tom Price, 62, has served in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2005. He currently is the chairman of the House Budget Committee. Price is married and he and his wife, Betty, have one child. Price is a Presbyterian. He is the primary sponsor of the Empowering Patients First Act, a Republican alternative to the Democrats' Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare.
