In yet another case of an illegal alien allegedly sexually attacking an American girl, Wilibaldo Salinas Garcia was arrested on Friday in Polk County, Florida and charged with the "sexual battery" of an 8-year-old girl, which is a capital felony, meaning that if he is convicted he could face life in prison or the death penalty.

As reported by the police to the Tampa Bay Times, Garcia has "admitted to the assault during a recorded phone call and in a series of text messages."

According to the 8-year-old victim, Garcia went into her room on Aug. 24 while she was sleeping. He then "digitally penetrated her and forced her to touch him," said the Polk County Sheriff's office. The girl tried to roll away and Garcia then pulled her back. She then said she had to use the bathroom and went there to hide until he left her room.

In a text message to the girl's mother, who apparently knows Garcia, the man claimed he was drunk and didn't recall what happened. The mother reportedly replied, "She told me you touched her private part and you kissed her and she couldn't breathe, and now she is scared of you."

Sheriff Grady Judd told the Bay Times, "Sorry won’t cut it for this guy; he’s only sorry that he was caught. He tried to prevent getting caught by telling the girl that if she told her mother, her mother would hit her."

The Bay Times further reported, "Garcia’s criminal history includes misdemeanor charges for resisting arrest, loitering and marijuana possession, the Sheriff’s Office said. When he was arrested, a check of the National Crime Information Center and Florida Crime Information Center revealed Garcia was in the country illegally.

"Deputies said Garcia fled the country in 2013 when he was suspected of sexually battering another girl in his family. Garcia’s family told deputies he hadn’t been seen in Polk County again until late 2017 when he contacted them."

Immigration and Customs Enforcement has placed a hold on Garcia.
