Actor Charlie Sheen, who in his notorious 2011 public meltdown revealed he was not bi-polar but “bi-winning – I win here, I win there,” said in a recent interview that he is a “constitutional Republican,” supports a 10% flat tax, and speculated that he and his father, Martin Sheen, could run for president, “Sheen and Sheen in ’16.”

Sheen was interviewed on The Flipside With Michael Loftus, a talk and comedy show. Loftus asked Sheen if he were king of America for a day, what three things would he do.

Charlie ‘Tiger Blood’ Sheen said he would first put “skilled vets in front of our schools” to protect them from criminals. Second, he would simplify the tax code to  “a 10% tax across-the-board.”

“Yes, 10%,” he said. “You make a dollar or a million, 10%.  [But] in times of recession, inflation, whatever, you fluctuate state tax.  And the third [thing] would be just stop it – everybody relax. That should be a rule: everybody relax.”

Chatting further about his political views, Sheen said, “Put the Constitution back into place. People say, are you a Republican or a Democrat? No, I say I’m a constitutional Republican and I believe in a Constitution. You know?  Look at what we went through to write that document.”

Sheen then joked that when he polls his friends about running for president, he gets 100% support.

When Loftus said he would vote for Sheen, the infamous actor said, “Guess who my vice president is? My dad. It would be Sheen and Sheen in ’16. Running on a platform of truth and transparency. Seriously.”

Now where have we heard that before?
