Famed Christian athlete and former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow had a rough start in the Arizona Fall League (AFL) last week, going 0-for-9 in his first three games, according to ESPN.

But Tebow let reporters know that he is not getting down about his slow start, answering, “Get it tomorrow,” in response to a reporter who asked what his mindset was.

Tim Tebow signed a minor league deal for $100,000 with the New York Mets last month.

“Through three games in the league for top prospects, Tebow is now 0-for-9 with three strikeouts, two walks and an RBI,” reports ESPN. “All of his six outs put in play have been hit to the right side of the infield – two grounders to second base, three to first base and a squibber in front of the plate. He manned left field in his opening two games.”

When the minor league Mets player was asked whether he was “down at all” following his first week in the AFL Tebow responded in typical upbeat fashion:

“No. It’s too much of a process, you know. After everything I’ve been through in sports, no, I wouldn’t be up and down over three games. It’s just a process. Focus, and, you know, keep improving. And go get it.”
