NFL tight end, now for the New England Patriots, and father of seven Benjamin Watson ripped liberal activist and actress Alyssa Milano for her comments on CNN with Chris Cuomo that recent pro-life legislation will affect “women of color” most, Watson saying her comments reveal “IGNORANCE, RACISM” or both.

.@Alyssa_Milano to claim that giving MORE children of color the right to be born will negatively affect ‘women of color’ reveals IGNORANCE, RACISM or some combination of both,” wrote Benjamin Watson in a tweet. “Our children and families are capable of greatness and lies like this harm our future. Don’t patronize us.”

The outspoken Christian athlete’s response on his Twitter page came after Alyssa Milano, on CNN’s One-On-One with Chris Cuomo, suggested that recent legislation, like Georgia’s fetal heartbeat bill and Alabama’s pro-life bill, “will affect the communities of color more than anything.” Milano also later said in the interview, “For the women of color, for the women that are marginalized, for the women that are low income communities, the women that are the most at risk, these bills are going to be catastrophic.”

Father of seven and pro-life advocate Benjamin Watson also said on July 16, 2018, in a Facebook post about ultrasounds and the dignity of human life, that “[s]eeing life inside the womb not only affirms its beauty and dignity but encourages the mother and father that their child is worth fighting for. For me, as I yawned after seeing my daughter yawn in utero, the pregnancy became real in a much more tangible way.”
