National Football League Baltimore Ravens tight end Benjamin Watson posted an inspirational reminder about the men and women lost on 9/11 to his social media followers today, saying, “We will #NeverForget.”

Watson, an outpsoken Christian and gifted athlete, took note of a man he saw this morning, Sept. 11, 2017, raising an American flag for the morning commuters of I-695 to see on their way to work:

“I saw this man raising the flag over a I-695 overpass this chilly September 11th morning in Baltimore Couty, MD as rush hour traffic moved slowly below,” wrote Watson. “ I do not know his personal story, but like all of us,  he is no doubt remembering and honoring the thousands who lost their lives on that dreadful day 16 years ago.”

Recounting who America lost that fateful day, Watson continued, “They were husbands, wives, children, co workers and friends whose loved ones we pray will continue to receive an ever greater measure of divine comfort and strength as the years go by.”
