In a note on his Facebook page Saturday, March 17, 2018, nationally syndicated radio talk show host and TV personality Mark Levin called out the “utterly irresponsible media” for “pushing McCabe’s insane narrative.”

“The utterly irresponsible media are pushing McCabe’s insane narrative, where he’s lashing out in all directions… ,” Mark Levin said in the headline of his note on his Facebook page.

Levin’s note came in reference to an piece titled “McCabe: Trump wants to destroy me to stop Mueller probe.” According to the report, “Former top FBI official Andrew McCabe, who was fired late Friday night by Attorney General Jeff Sessions two days before becoming eligible for full pension benefits, said in an extraordinary statement that he was targeted because President Donald Trump wants to destroy him as part of his ‘war’ against special counsel Robert Mueller.”

“The American people were victimized by McCabe and his ilk,” claimed Levin in his note. “He abused his public trust at the FBI. And lest we forget, the media participated in this attempt to undermine our election by serving as outlets for McCabe and other rogue government officials who were leaking to the media during the course of the investigation. The media sought to interfere in the election as well.”
