Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Mark Levin took to Facebook today in a note, defending Attorney General Jeff Sessions and telling President Trump to “stop tweet-attacking Jeff Sessions.”

“Mr. President, stop tweet-attacking Jeff Sessions… ,” Mark Levin said in a headline on a Facebook note he wrote Tuesday. “YOU said your administration would not pursue Hillary.”

Levin’s comments come in response to a series of tweets by President Trump, whereby the president heaped more criticism on Attorney General Sessions for, among other things, taking “a VERY weak position on Hillary Clinton crimes.” President Trump also asked “where is the investigation,” concerning alleged Ukrainian efforts to "sabotage" his campaign and "boost Clinton."

“[E]ven though I personally disagree with Sessions recusing himself, you’ve no more loyal person,” Levin continued. “He was the first senator to endorse you. He campaigned for you. He left the Senate to serve you.

“Sessions is pursuing your agenda at DOJ,” Levin said. “And if you think you’ll do better, I believe you’re wrong. Besides, the Senate has to confirm whomever you nominate.”

At the end of his note, Levin linked to a short piece with audio from Real Clear Politics.
