On his nationally syndicated radio talk show program Thursday, host Mark Levin discussed Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), telling his audience “we have a little problem” because it’s unclear where President Trump now stands on two key planks of his presidential primary campaign: DACA and ‘The Wall.’

“Well, the backbenchers, TV, the rest, they’ve kind of caught up where we are here, ladies and gentleman, that we have a little problem,” stated Mark Levin. “We have a little problem. I’m going to pose a question to you: Where exactly does President Trump stand on DACA and ‘The Wall’ today?”

Levin’s comments came as numerous outlets reported their take on President Trump’s position on DACA following the president’s meeting with Democratic Party leaders on the issue. President Trump’s position on ‘The Wall’ during his presidential campaign, however, seems quite clear.

Below is a transcript of Levin’s comments from his show Thursday:

“Well, the backbenchers, TV, the rest, they’ve kind of caught up where we are here, ladies and gentleman, that we have a little problem. We have a little problem. I’m going to pose a question to you: Where exactly does President Trump stand on DACA and ‘The Wall’ today?

“What is his position? Do you know what his position is?

“Oh, I hear all of the bizarre arguments in defense of him going wobbly, that the media are trying to separate Trump from his base, that this is really just to get back at the Republicans, and I don’t know. Just bizarre. But this is the president’s decision.

“And then he has dinner with Chuck and Nancy last night, and his new friends. And they come out, and say, ‘Hey, we have a deal,’ and all hell breaks loose, including here.

“And the president says, ‘No, no, no. We don’t have a deal.’

“And then all day long, I’m hearing them go back and forth and back and forth.

“So, I’d be curious to know: Do you know what the president’s position is?

“Now, we know what he campaigned on, right? Deportation.

“Now he says, ‘You don’t really want to deport all these people, do you?

“Well, if he didn’t want to deport all these people, why did he make it a central plank of his campaign to distinguish himself from the other candidates? I’m quite serious about this. This doesn’t make much sense, does it?

“We have headline after headline. It’s almost incomprehensible.

“Here we have Politico: Trump, Democrats Confirm Outline of DACA Deal, Despite Denials, AP: Democrats Say They Have a Deal with Trump on Young Immigrants, NBC News: Trump Says ‘No Deal’ Was Reached with Democrats to Extend DACA, Washington Times: [Donald] Trump Vows to Work with Dem[s] to Legalize Dreamers, Says ‘The Wall Will Come Later’, Right Scoop: Trump Refutes Nancy and Chuck, Says There Is No Deal on DACA…Yet—[VIDEO], Daily Caller: Top Dems Say Trump Agreed to DACA [Recipients] Without Wall, Right Scoop: [WHA?] Trump Just Said ‘We’re Not Looking at Amnesty, We’re Looking at Allowing People to Stay Here…’ [VIDEO].

“Well, my goodness. Everybody lying on the right and the left and in between?”
