In an interview with Agence France-Presse (AFP) last week, actress Zoe Saldana said that Hollywood is to blame for President-elect Donald Trump’s win, because they became “cocky” and “arrogant” bullies.

“We got cocky and became arrogant and we also became bullies," Saldana said.

Saldana, who starred in the “Avatar,” “Star Trek,” and “Guardians of the Galaxy,” is not a Trump supporter. She said Hollywood’s insults of the president-elect created empathy towards him among voters.

"We were trying to single out a man for all these things he was doing wrong... and that created empathy in a big group of people in America that felt bad for him and that are believing in his promises," she said.
