Entertaiment Weekly is reporting that rapper Kanye West tweeted Tuesday afternoon about his meeting with President-Elect Donald Trump earlier in the day.
“I wanted to meet with Trump today to discuss multicultural issues,” West tweeted. “These issues included bullying, supporting teachers, modernizing curriculums, and violence in Chicago.”
In another tweet West added, “I feel it is important to have a direct line of communication with our future President if we truly want change.”
Entertaiment Weekly's Eric Renner Brown reports that "West concluded his chain of tweets with '#2024,' a reference to his 2015 declaration that he planned to run for president in 2020."
