President Barack Obama and Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau both tweeted their congratulations to Planned Parenthood on Sunday on the 100th anniversary of the founding of the nation’s largest abortion provider: “Here’s to another #100YearsStrong,” they tweeted.

“For a century, Planned Parenthood has made it possible for women to determine their own lives,” President Obama tweeted. “Here's to another #100YearsStrong.”

Trudeau tweeted a picture of himself next to Planned Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards writing, “My warmest congratulations to @CecileRichards and Planned Parenthood on its hundredth anniversary. Here's to another #100YearsStrong!”

Many other prominent politicians and celebrities wished the abortion provider a happy 100th birthday, including House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), who tweeted, “For a 100 years, @PPFA has been committed to providing comprehensive care. I'm proud to #StandwithPP.”

Billionaire and former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg tweeted that “the fight for reproductive rights is long from over, and it’s a fight we must win. Thank you @PPFA for 100 yrs of progress.”

Rep. Loretta Sanchez (D-Calif.) also tweeted her congratulations to Planned Parenthood, saying, “Thank you for providing women and families with an invaluable service for 100 years! #100YearsStrong”

In its latest available annual report, Planned Parenthood reported that its affiliates around the country performed 323,999 abortion procedures in the fiscal year that ended on Sept. 30, 2014.
